We first met in February 2019 at Banjia, a Korean restaurant in New York. From the moment we met, we clicked and talked nonstop for over three hours. We continued to date in the following weeks and soon began our relationship.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019-2020, Julie moved to Korea to extend her visa, and we maintained a long-distance relationship for over a year. To keep our bond strong, we FaceTimed every day for hours, sharing every small detail of our days. David visited Julie during the pandemic, enduring a two-week quarantine in an Airbnb room, eating delivery food. Julie felt a deep love from David, seeing how much he endured to be with her.
Julie finally moved back to America in January 2021, marking a joyful time for both of us. We continued to build deeper trust, and in April 2023, David proposed to Julie on a private rooftop in New York, with a view of the Rockefeller Center.
As we move into 2024, we decided to celebrate our wedding in Barcelona, Spain, at a private and beautiful location with our closest friends and family. We are excited to celebrate the opening of the next chapter in our lives with our dearest people.
